About

Michelle is a Brooklyn-based documentary filmmaker and video journalist. She’s currently working on several projects as a freelancer after a year of producing for the Emmy award-winning HBO news series Axios on HBO. Her work has also appeared on Vice, PBS Newshour, AJ+, and Discovery+. She recently produced a feature documentary, The Surge at Mount Sinai, that won a Webby for best branded documentaries of 2022. Michelle was also recently selected as an emerging filmmaker in DOC NYC’s Storytelling Incubator program.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
