Meranda Yslas is an emerging documentary film editor with experience as a video journalist. Currently, she is an Assistant Editor on RABBI, a feature documentary about a revolutionary queer Rabbi, who leads a god-optional, artist driven, and everybody friendly synagogue. Previously she worked as an AE at CNN and Gidalya Pictures. Originally from Arizona, she is interested in immigration, Latin America, gender politics, and their intersections. As a bilingual Mexican-American storyteller, she loves the opportunity to work in both languages.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
