Mark Wambui, an accomplished filmmaker hailing from Nairobi, Kenya, boasts a decade-long career marked by accolades and international recognition. Renowned for his directorial brilliance, Mark has collaborated with prestigious clients such as the World Bank and USAID, earning the title of Filmmaker of the Year at the African Youth Awards in 2015. Notably shortlisted among Netflix & UNESCO's Top 20 Emerging Filmmakers in 2022, Mark's journey led him to BBC Studios Natural History in Bristol, as a Project Songbird selectee. Mark is currently the founder and Managing director of Re-tuning Cinema in Africa.
