Manogna, hailing from Bangalore, India, is a multifaceted individual with a passion for filmmaking, theatre and art. Her creative pursuits explore a diverse array of subjects, from environmental education to dissenting artwork, encompassing cultural nuances and socio-political realities.
With an eye for storytelling, Manogna hopes her films bring to light important stories. Her journey in filmmaking has taken her across the length and breadth of India, where she has collaborated with a number of communities, ranging from Adivasi communities to vibrant civil society movements. Manogna's experience in theatre, both on and off stage, and her experience with film in research, production and post production, have given her a deeper understand of working with diverse teams on large projects, community engagement and more.
Through her artistry and advocacy through her work, Manogna endeavours to challenge perspectives, provoke thought and and inspire action.
