About

Liza is an award-winning documentary filmmaker with a background in non-profit media and ethnographic research specializing in unscripted character-driven storytelling. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2016 for Anthropology and Film Production and afterwards, spent several years producing impact-oriented content in the south before moving back to Maryland. She has worked on projects for international non-profits, fortune 500 companies as well as on original short and feature length documentary films. She has created video work for a variety of formats and platforms including broadcast, live events, and museum installations. She is currently a freelance editor working on a variety of projects across non-fiction film and video.
