Lindsay Graciela Perna is a Mexican-American showrunner, director and executive producer focused on explainer and experiential non-fiction content. Her previous projects include: showrunning a premium Snap Originals docuseries, "Run for Office," about young candidates running in local midterm races across the country; an overall deal developing unscripted shows for YouTube Originals and developing a long-form docuseries about Latino culture in the U.S., hosted by John Leguizamo for MSNBC. These are on the heels of the success of the Vox docuseries she EP/showran, "Glad You Asked," a YouTube Originals series that was twice Emmy-Nominated for Outstanding Educational or Informational Series. This follows several years at CNN serving as a lead producer directing high-profile talent, creating network priority specials and kickstarting “Beme,” a CNN production company created with famed YouTuber Casey Neistat. Lindsay’s long-form projects include producing two feature documentaries; one of which, Duty Free, has premiered at DOCNYC and is being distributed by PBS Independent Lens. The other, The Age of Water, debuted at the Morelia Film Festival (FICM, 2024) and will be distributed by POV on PBS in 2025. The Spanish-language documentary has been supported by Latino Public Broadcasting amid other funding programs at Firelight Media and Chicken & Egg Pictures. She is currently working on a follow-doc about Georgia Senator and Reverend Raphael Warnock for the AJC.
