About

Lindsay Graciela Perna is a Mexican-American showrunner, director and executive producer focused on explainer and experiential non-fiction content. Her latest project: showrunning a premium Snap Originals docuseries, "Run for Office," about young candidates running in local midterm races across the country. Previously, her projects have included an overall deal developing unscripted shows for YouTube Originals and developing a long-form docuseries about Latino culture in the U.S., hosted by John Leguizamo for MSNBC (set to air in April). These are on the heels of the success of her last docuseries she showran, "Glad You Asked," a YouTube Originals series with Vox that was twice Emmy-Nominated for Outstanding Educational or Informational Series. This follows several years at CNN serving as a lead producer directing high-profile talent, creating network priority specials and kickstarting “Beme,” a CNN production company created with famed YouTuber Casey Neistat. Lindsay’s long-form projects include producing two feature documentaries; one of which, Duty Free, has premiered at DOCNYC and is being distributed by PBS Independent Lens. The other, The Age of Water, is in the midst of post-production and has been supported by Latino Public Broadcasting amid other funding programs at Firelight Media and Chicken & Egg Pictures.
