About

Laura is currently an Executive Producer at the Future of StoryTelling. Prior to FoST, Laura was Head of Creative Development & Production at interactive entertainment tech startup Eko. She supervised the development and production of a large slate of feature length and episodic original series as part of Eko's $250M joint venture with Walmart to fund original content. Notable projects included interactive versions of a rom-com with Paul Feig’s PowderKeg, film noir with Doug Liman, courtroom drama with Barry Levinson, dramedy with Ilana Glazer, and a time travel workplace comedy with Funny or Die from co-creator Paul Scheer and the Russo Brothers. Previously, as Director of Development at Mandeville Films & TV based at the Walt Disney Studios and ABC, she was the creative lead on a diverse and high-profile portfolio of projects for both film and television. Projects included Beauty and the Beast, The Muppets, Wonder, Chip ‘N Dale Rescue Rangers, Stronger, Insurgent, The Nutcracker, Flight of the Navigator, What Men Want, Phineas & Ferb, a Cirque du Soleil narrative feature, and The Patriarch at HBO (David O. Russell directing). Cultivating emerging talent and working with evolving technology have been defining passions throughout her career. At BBDO’s AT&T Entertainment division, Laura was the co-lead producer for Hello Lab, AT&T’s diversity-focused innovation lab. With an interest in always innovating, Laura has worked in emerging platforms like AR/VR/XR, interactive, experiential, podcasts, and social. She co-founded and launched from the ground up an XR and immersive reality lab now used by all of the Publicis Groupe, leading the agency's efforts into new mediums. Producing at the intersection of entertainment and technology, she loves pushing boundaries in storytelling and redefining the future of what gets made.
