Kevin O'Connor is a New York based composer whose recent work includes scores for feature environmental documentary BACK WATER (2017), and coming of age family dramedy CREEDMORIA (2017). He recently assisted Academy Award Nominated composer Johann Johannsson on Darren Aronofsky's film MOTHER! (2017). As primary writer in the cinematic instrumental rock duo Talkdemonic, he released four albums and toured with The National, The Flaming Lips, and Modest Mouse. Kevin’s music has been featured in movies like Jason Reitman’s THANK YOU FOR SMOKING (2006) and Mike Birbiglia’s SLEEPWALK WITH ME (2012). His other credits include scores for the feature enigmatic drama BIRDS OF NEPTUNE (2015), and world running documentary FINDING STRONG (2013). Kevin also writes music for television commercials for the NYC music house Singing Serpent, recent spots for Volkswagen, Subway, and Glad.
