Kate Sensenig

Since 2024, Kate Sensenig has been working with the Utah Film Center's exhibition department to bring diverse, inspired, and groundbreaking stories to Utah audiences. She specializes in film file management, festival programming coordination, distributor relations, and venue operations. Kate works closely with the Utah Film Center's Artist Foundry program to provide resources and create professional opportunities for local filmmakers. She's also an AV technician, curator, and Q&A moderator. Outside of her role at the Film Center, she's been on the awards jury for Dark Cinema Film Festival (2025) and the programming committee for Utah Arts' Fear No Film Festival (2026). Before joining the Utah Film Center, Kate worked as a set production assistant in Los Angeles on projects such as Annapurna Pictures’ NIGHTBITCH (2024). Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Scripps College.
