About

Joe lives in Austin, TX, originally from New Jersey. He brings over 2 decades of experience in motion design & art direction with a focus on films & series. His career began at the SyFy channel where he crafted motion graphics for high priority promo campaigns. This eventually lead him to go freelance at several NYC motion design studios working on commercial advertisements & network projects. In 2008 he formed his company Stellar Hawk and focused primarily on cinematic film design; designing & animating titles, story-driven sequences, archival treatments and VFX shots. Today he has worked on 30+ documentary style films/series that can be seen on Netflix, Apple+, Hulu, Max, Prime, Disney+, Paramount+, Vice, ESPN, & ABC. Some of which, won awards and at The Sports Emmys, MTV Movie Awards, Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca & other festivals.
