About

Jacob caught the bug for journalism and video storytelling while studying abroad in the Middle East during the 2011 Arab Spring. Since then, he has studied in Columbia Journalism School's documentary program, and has worked on shows like "Vice News Tonight," "Axios on HBO," and the docu-series "Leguizamo Does America." He's a specialist in research, from fact checking to archival, and loves the thrill of being in the field to capture the action.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
