About

Hanna Stawicki is a video editor, producer, and documentary filmmaker based in Richmond, VA. She is inspired by stories about the human experience. Her professional portfolio captures the humanity behind businesses and brands. When done well, she believes this creates a connection with the audience that incites action. Grounded in verité, character-driven storytelling, her documentary work is emotional, raw, cinematic, and authentic. Ultimately, she tells compelling stories filled with beauty and honest moments. Hanna received her MFA in Documentary Filmmaking from Wake Forest University, but will always be a Hokie at heart (class of 2010!). She has worked as an editor, post supervisor, production manager, and photographer both independently and for media companies such as Humanstory Films and Meridian Hill Pictures. She is a traveller, artist, wife, basketball-lover, and mom of 2 wild girls (Isla & Ren).
