About
Grace is a producer, filmmaker and video journalist with extensive experience in factual TV, current affairs and ethnographic films. Her works bring together East Asian characters and stories with an international outlook, featured on platforms such as Discovery, Channel 5, CNBC, AXN, and major broadcasters in Taiwan.
In particular, she self-shoots and edits branded films for the MET Police, Hurtigruten Expeditions (focusing on Arctic and Antarctica sailings), and a variety of ethnographic films for Ipsos. With these skills and 15 years of experience in the media industry, she has been able to produce high-standard content that meets the requirements of clients, broadcasters, and her own interests, from development and production to delivery.
Before moving into freelancing, she executive produced and directed award-winning travel series featuring Hakka communities overseas and holds an M.A. in Television Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London.
With a passion for community-oriented projects, she has been supporting, developing, and connecting emerging filmmakers in the UK as a mentor at Film London Connect and Goldsmiths, University of London. She also co-leads VC London and Formosa Salon, a Taiwanese community based in London.
