Galen Murray is a DP, Steadicam, Camera Operator and FAA Certified Drone Pilot based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Born and raised in the mountains of Montana, Galen learned an appreciation, respect and love for natural beauty early on. A background in outdoor action sports and degrees in Broadcast Journalism, Media Arts and Entertainment Mgmt from The University of Montana led him on a journey to Colorado and finally Salt Lake City, UT as he pursued his passion for story telling and filmmaking.
Today Galen calls Salt Lake home, where he specializes in Camera and Drone work, with particular strengths in remote and extreme locations, especially in Documentary and Branded Content. His background in journalism, familiarity with sports and the outdoors, and wide technical camera knowledge give him a unique perspective on beautiful imagery combined with compelling storytelling.
