About

Growing up as the youngest of seven kids, Gabe got his start by making childhood action films on his mom's videocamera. As he matured and grew alongside his loved ones, his experiences pulled him towards telling real stories of resilient families. Gabe works in Los Angeles as a director, editor, and DP for short-form commercial, non-fiction, and narrative projects. Freelance-wise, he's worked for brands like Kroger, Genesis, and Chevrolet. Project-wise, his directorial work has won awards at Cleveland International, Hollyshorts, Indy Shorts Int, and more. His latest short doc was academy-qualified and acquired by POV on PBS and The New Yorker.
