Felix Phillips is a cinematographer based in New York City. Since arriving in New York in May, he has shot multiple corporate docs and camera assisted on docs ranging from behind the scenes features to human-interest stories in NYC. He is also in pre-production for a man on the street style interview comedy show, which he will DP. A short documentary he shot, Waiting for Waves, is currently enjoying a festival run. Among other festival selections, the piece won Best Cinematography at the Redstones Film Festival and was an Official Selection at the Austin Film Festival. Felix is influenced by the ethos of directors such as Errol Morris, who were able to create stylized cinematic images while staying true to the documentary form. He hopes to emulate these twin achievements in his work.
