Emily Condon is a young multimedia journalist passionate about using video as a tool to connect with other young, emerging and digital-savvy audiences. She graduated from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism in May 2025. During her time there, she completed internships at FOX45 in Baltimore, NBC News in New York City and CNN in Washington, DC. After graduation, she interned with The Washington Post on their audience strategy team as a social media producer. Condon is passionate about digital and vertical video as powerful tools to tell stories to citizens in a crowded digital ecosystem.
Condon's mantra: what is the point of reporting out a story if you are not meeting audiences where they are? Digital social video meets people with crucial information where they are already consuming and connecting.
