Èlia Gasull Balada is a NAACP Image Award-nominated visual artist and filmmaker. Her body of work is focused on stories that underscore deeply felt themes of trauma, race, inequity and activism in the face of steep odds. In 2021, she was listed under the DOC NYC 40 under 40 list which shines a spotlight on emerging talent in the documentary world. She has recently been selected to participate in the 2023 Berlinale Talents Summit.
