About

Edouard Fan is a filmmaker, working in both fiction and non-fiction narrative storytelling, with extensive experience as editor. He is a graduate of USC’s MFA program in Film and Television Production, with a Bachelor's degree from NYU in finance and philosophy. Having lived in France, China, and America, he is passionate about telling stories that center the Asian diaspora, while exploring themes about human nature and their universality amongst all people. His interests in literature and cinema drives him to write and direct stories that he hopes will push the boundaries of the craft while enlarging the scope of AAPI discourse.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
