Dawne Langford is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker and producer dedicated to amplifying historically suppressed narratives. Beginning her career as a broadcast television editor in public media, she transitioned into producing after participating in the PBS Producers Academy. Since then, Dawne has worked on powerful, socially resonant documentaries, including Check It, Kandahar Journals, Finding Joseph I, and most recently, The Body Politic, which aired nationally on POV/PBS in 2024 and was nominated for an Emmy. She also worked with CNN Films, Discovery Channel, CGTN, and Moxie Pictures. A 2023 Sundance Producers Lab Fellow and 2024 Sundance + Adobe Women to Watch Fellow.
