At an early age Brittany discovered editing. Magically connecting pieces of a puzzle while breathing life into precious moments, drew her to pursue editing as a career. For the past ten years, that passion has been unwavering.
Brittany has been an Assistant Editor on various reality medical documentaries, true crime tv shows, feature films, and documentaries. Each production she has worked on, had their own unique challenges. With her critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and communication she's been able to overcome any obstacle that she has encountered.
Brittany has edited various reality shows from reality medical documentaries, video podcasts, true crime shows, and educational videos. She enjoys creative problem solving and telling the best story about the cast members.
Using Avid Media Composer she created and maintained a library of sound effects, music, cut sequences, and various source media. She's imported, prepped, and distributed media for both online and offline editing. Utilizing Script Sync, Brittany has organized interviews and scripts to maintain a clean and orderly project. She has delivered a plethora of files internally and externally for reviews, various department deliveries, and final deliveries. Brittany has also seamlessly worked in a shared project with other editors while editting.
Brittany is passionate about the caliber of work she produces and honing all her skills for the betterment of the team and production. Brittany is hard working and transparent. She is an avid problem solver. Brittany thrives on creating a level of camaraderie with her coworkers and pride herself on being a team player.
