Both through my production company Steadfast, and collaborating with others on my own, I'm really just trying to make work that lasts. I do this to help tell the stories of people or moments in an honest way that gives all those involved a sense of pride.

In his 16-plus years of experience in creating short-form, documentary-style videos exclusively for the internet, Ben Poster has learned that each shoot is really a creative opportunity to make something unique. That lesson began with his documentary work, and, specifically, with the people he would profile: ‘they’re unique—capture that, and don’t get in the way’, was the best approach. And as the scope and platform of his work has evolved, his approach has also grown as to include a 2nd key learning for making compelling, unique videos, collaboration gets you there: ‘this creative group of people working together on this project is unique—reflect that, and don’t let anything else get in the way’. Making one of a kind work remains his number one priority, and when it came time to name his production company, ‘Steadfast’ fit perfectly, because if you work really hard to make special work, it will, always, last.
