Andrew Nadkarni is a queer multiracial filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Currently a BRIClab Film & TV Artist in Residence, his doc short Between Earth & Sky won the grand prize at the If/Then x Redford Center Nature Access Pitch at DOC NYC.

Andrew Nadkarni is a queer multiracial filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. Currently a BRIClab Film & TV Artist in Residence, his documentary short Between Earth and Sky won the grand prize at the If/Then x Redford Center Nature Access Pitch at DOC NYC. He aims to integrate sustainable and community oriented practices into his filmmaking process, to explore how race, gender, caste, trauma, and stories affect identity across generations. He most recently produced the narrative feature, Actual People, which will be released by Factory 25, following festival premieres at Locarno, Slamdance, and BAMcinemaFest. He also served as a production supervisor on the NY Unit of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and a production coordinator on the series Modern Love and Awkwafina is Nora from Queens. A film & TV graduate of NYU Tisch, Andrew has worked across the United States, Japan, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
