I have had a keen interest in storytelling ever since I founded my elementary school’s first newspaper at 8 years old and have been pursuing that passion ever since. I graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where my inclination to constantly explore my curiosity and uncover the unknown translated into a major in journalism, especially through video. While I developed valuable insight into the world of film through demanding courses, projects, and professional work, I further developed my interpersonal skills by competing as a collegiate and international fencer for 12 years. Aside from the physical strength and perseverance I have gained from the sport, fencing has developed me into an extremely detail oriented person that is capable of big-picture and minute-detail directed thinking. I’m currently working as an editorial assistant doing research for an upcoming book with a journalist and have worked as a production assistant and office manager for Insignia Films.
