Alexis has filmed, produced, and directed two feature documentary films. Her most recent film, Blood, Sweat, and Beer was acquired by Hulu and featured in USA Today, Paste, The Washington Post, and on NPR, WBEZ Chicago, and ESPNRadio. Blood, Sweat, and Beer was also selected for the American Film Showcase, a film diplomacy program hosted by the U.S. State Dept. and USC. Alexis screened her first film, The Dream Share Project, at over 200 colleges and high schools across the country. Her first non-fiction book, Build Your Dreams, was published by Running Press in 2013. Alexis graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in print journalism, and the UCLA TFT 2019-2020 Professional Program in Screenwriting.
