Alex Dean is a director and showrunner who is know for “Bombshell: the Hedy Lamarr Story” which was named one of Manila Darghis’ favorite films of 2014 and Indiewire’s favorite documentaries of all time. She also made “This is Paris” which broke the story that Paris was abused in boarding school and invented her famous persona to escape the control of her parents. She is also a showrunner who made well known series including the 10-part Secrets of Playboy on Hulu and the 3-part Where the Truth Lies on Peacock.
