What We Do
JEVA nace en el 2020 como una organización de mujeres venezolanxs dedicadxs a la creación cinematográfica en todas sus áreas, que desde distintos lugares del mundo quisieron establecer un espacio donde encontrarse y ofrecer apoyo a otras mujeres en el desarrollo de sus carreras. Somos un espacio de encuentro, participación y fortalecimiento, al cual mujeres cineastas puedan acudir para concretar sus proyectos y consolidar sus carreras, contribuyendo con la disminución de desigualdades en el campo profesional, que apunta a la visibilidad, conexión y sostenibilidad de sus asociadas.
JEVA was born in 2020 as an organization of Venezuelan womxn dedicated to film creation in all its areas, who from different parts of the world wanted to establish a space to meet and offer support to other fellow femmes in the development of their careers. We are a space for meeting, participation and empowerment, where femme filmmakers can go to materialize their projects and consolidate their careers, contributing to the reduction of inequalities in the professional field, which aims at the visibility, connection and sustainability of its associates.
