The Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA) is a nonprofit advocacy organization founded in 2016 to address systemic shortcomings that have led to significant challenges for producers hoping to enjoy a sustainable career. Our membership is a dynamic coalition made up of over 600 members, ranging from emerging to Academy Award-winning documentary producers. As a collective force, the DPA spearheads the establishment of inclusive, sustainable, and equitable industry practices.
