Featuring:
"Mural Man" (directed by Clay Barnwell)
A short documentary celebrating the work of Denton muralist David Baker, and the influence he's had on the local artistic community. The film follows David as he explains his artistic process and the importance of supporting small businesses in Denton. featuring interviews from fellow artists and local business owners who have worked with him.
"Songs Remembered" (directed by Eboni Johnson-Kaba)
No one is ever ready to lose a loved one, especially to a disease that dims the bonds of the past. Through the Haynes family, we explore what it means to love someone present in the body, yet absent in the mind, and how the spirit can transcend all boundaries.
"The Cult of 605" (directed by Daniel Jarvis)
605, a minibike gang formed by two elementary school football coaches, MARIO and SLACK, goes viral after attacking a celebrity. As the biggest ride-out in LA history approaches, rising fame and unchecked egos ignite a brutal feud with a vengeful rival, threatening to turn a street spectacle into a bloodbath.
Tickets will not be sold at the door, so be sure to RSVP online ahead of time.
All ticket sales go directly back into making these monthly gatherings possible, and to helping our nonfiction video community thrive.
