The Video Consortium (VC) is thrilled to announce the launch of our Minneapolis Hub serving the Twin Cities! The launch event is an opportunity to learn about the Video Consortium and connect with fellow documentary filmmakers and video journalists over a brew and appetizers at local brewery, La Doña CervecerĂa on Friday, Nov. 22nd.
The event officially runs from 5:30pm - 8pm, but attendees are welcome to continue conversing and connecting until La Doña closes at 11pm.
At 6pm, Twin Cities local VC organizers will give a brief introduction to the VC, why we’ve launched a chapter here and what we hope the VC will bring to our nonfiction filmmaking community. We’re excited to celebrate all that is nonfiction film with on-going meets-ups and other events.
The launch is donation-based with proceeds sponsoring future events. Please RSVP to reserve your spot for venue capacity limitations. Drink tickets and food are first-come, first-served, so come early and catch the 6pm introduction!
