What We Do
In recent years, Mexican documentary cinema has been characterized by its portrayal of harsh social realities and its reflection on the institutional violence affecting the country. However, in the face of this reality, Mexicans and Latin Americans have created different forms of resistance that have been captured by the gaze of emerging young Mexican filmmakers. VC Mexico and Sinapsis bring two films to Hong Kong that showcase this and highlight the deep relationship between Latin Americans and their territories and the desire to preserve ancestral traditions.
