About

Hi there! I am a documentary filmmaker with a passion for creating compelling and informative visual content. I hold a Master's degree in Documentary Filmmaking, and I have directed several award-winning short documentaries, including "Los Muchachos," "El Checador," "Voces: Sobre la policía de la CDMX," and "El Color de las Libélulas." I have also directed numerous music videos and contributed to the editing of feature-length films, such as "Pacífico Norte" and "Feral." One of my most significant achievements has been my work with The World Justice Project, where I directed, photographed, and edited multiple documentaries that shed light on the Mexican criminal justice system. These videos have played a key role in national law-changing decisions, international justice forums, and book presentations. Currently, I am working on my debut feature film, and I am excited to bring my expertise in video production, photography, and creative direction to this new project. I have a proven track record of leading creative projects in fast-paced environments and delivering high-quality content that meets the most demanding requirements. My technical skills include hundreds of hours of on-location and in-studio filming, and I have a deep understanding of best practices and tools. I am highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Lightroom. I am highly connected to the film and non-profit ecosystems, and I thrive on the challenge of turning creative briefs into game plans that align with C-level desires and marketing needs. I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and discussing potential collaboration opportunities.

Dad's not a cop anymore. Thirty-three years wearing that blue uniform left him sharp and silent marks, the atypical life and the harshness of the streets made him in a rigid, authoritarian and limited man of emotions. through a character alienated and lonely, the film takes us into the intimate environment of a "police family" where the man defeated by the system finds that adapt to his new life is a rough and difficult road to travel.
