Deidre Jerichos career began twenty years ago in music publishing, working with some of the most commercially successful catalogs in music notably Prince, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Amy Winehouse, and Madonna. She developed an interest in producing real life narratives which would lead to her first documentary feature LIFE IN EIGHT COUNTS. The film is produced through her company Side Hustle Productions, alongside a slate of film and TV projects in the works. In addition to producing and directing for the screen, Deidre is an active member of the Archival Producers Alliance, an organization founded in 2023 in order to develop best practices and influence policy within the industry representing over 200 independent archival producers from across the U.S. and internationally. An avid learner, Deidre has studied directing and film editing at UCLA and continues to find new opportunities to master the craft of storytelling including the Showrunners Bootcamp via UCLAs Writers Studio.
