About

Adam was born in the great state of Oregon. He earned a B.S. and M.S. in biology at Stanford, and got started in journalism at a small but mighty newspaper in dairy country. During eight years at NPR's science desk, his reporting was heard on the radio and podcasts, and he created, produced and hosted the video series Skunk Bear. In 2019, he wrote and directed the Netflix miniseries "The Mind, Explained." He's currently working on new episodes of "Explained" lives in Washington, DC with his partner and VC/DC chapter leader Gabriella Garcia-Pardo.
