Melinda Thompson graduated from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland in May 2023. During her time at school, she tried out a variety of mediums before becoming passionate about video editing and documentary filmmaking. She is currently working on her first feature length documentary about a D.C. fashion designer curating her next collection.
