Leslie Macli

Leslie Macli is a Washington, DC-based Director/Producer with a deep interest in stories about community, social issues and the natural world. She works with networks, brands, media companies and advertising agencies to tell stories that inspire, educate and make an impact. For the past two decades she’s collaborated on a diverse range of projects for The North Face, National Geographic, Wieden + Kennedy, Viacom, Google, AARP and others. Leslie was formerly the Director of development and production for Viacom (MTV & Nickelodeon), where for seven years she oversaw the development and production of more than 300 hours of original content for the US and Latin America. She is bilingual and bicultural, holds a Master of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Communication & Film Studies. She’s a member of the D.C. chapter of the Video Consortium and Women in Film and Television. Her latest project produced alongside her dear friends at Makewild Films is, Havana Libre, a feature film about a communities' relentless fight to legitimize surfing in Cuba.
