I am a photographer & I choose visuals to communicate. Storytelling in all its forms intrigues me. Documentation hasn’t just improved my technical skills, but also evoked a sense of compassion which improved my understanding of emotions & capturing them.

Indraneel Chowdhury is a freelance photojournalist and documentary cinematographer working on assignment stories from all across India. His experience varies from shooting daily news, sports, socio-economic & political events and also for the development sector (Save the Children, Oxfam India, VSO, UNDP, BreakThrough India, World Bank, Siemens Healthineers). He has shot a multitude of photography projects and created human-interest stories for various publications. His work has been published on BBC, The Wall Street Journal, The Caravan, Time (Online), Getty Images, Mother Jones, Al-jazeera, OZY, etc.
He has also documented stories on social issues, climate change and political disturbances to name a few.
