Ashleigh Joplin is an awards-winning video journalist for The Washington Post. From the 2018 Olympics to the Bill Cosby trial to the 2016 Inauguration, Joplin has covered a variety of stories at The Post. Joplin joined the video team in 2014 as a general assignment editor and has gone on to work with multiple departments around the newsroom including the Local desk. She has been nominated for three Emmys and is the recipient of a Murrow Award for continuing coverage of Hurricane Katrina.
