About

Ana Gutiérrez Salgado (1987) is a Mexican visual storyteller, a professional filmmaker and an editor. Ana has a bachelor’s degree in communication from UNAM and a documentary film diploma from Observatorio, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her work is focused on social issues at their hometown Mexico City and other geographies in Mexico, Latin America and the United States. Her documentary films have been screening in film festivals, such as DOCSMX, MicGénero, Festival MIX. Recently she concludes her first narrative shortfilm "LOLO". Her clients include: Instituto Liderazgo Simone de Beauvoir (MX), Fondo Semillas (MX), In These Times Magazine (USA), GIRE (MX), Save the Children México (MX), OCNF (MX), FLEPS (MX) Girls Not Brides (UK), Balance (MX), Inroads (USA), Washington Post (USA), HIC (UK).
