Akil Gibbons is an award-winning film director and producer who’s earned millions of views worldwide through VICE Media, Netflix, Viacom Television Specials, commercial and sponsored digital campaigns, and his own company CoINTEL Productions (CoINTELPRO). Akil Gibbons work on the FBI counter-terrorism film (T)ERROR earned an Emmy and Sundance award in 2015 and later served as a cinematographer for the 2017 Netflix Original Get Me Roger Stone. Akil directed and produced his own feature film and Viacom television specials for The Daily Show With Trevor Noah, BET Remembers Nipsey Hussle, Angela Rye’s Midterm Election Special, American Injustice: A BET Town Hall, and previously worked at VICE Media as a Host and story producer.
