Zoeann is a visual journalist on staff at The Washington Post. She reports largely on humanitarian and environmental crises as well as covering breaking news. She has worked in over 20 countries. In recent years, she’s focused on migration, climate change and natural disasters. She is a five-time national Emmy nominee, and her work has been recognized with awards from World Press Photo, National Press Foundation, Scripps Howard Foundation, POYi, and the Edward R. Murrow award among others. In 2019 she was the recipient of the Ben Bradlee Award for Courage in Journalism.
