I am a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, currently enrolled in the Documentary Film MFA program at Stanford University. I spent 5 years working in local TV news - in New York, Chicago, and Denver - and recently got really into puppets.

Zach Ben-Amots is a documentary filmmaker and photojournalist, who pursues his work with a passion for local news, personal storytelling, and practical/handmade special effects. He is an Emmy-winning producer and photojournalist, having worked as a staff journalist in local TV newsrooms in New York, Chicago, and Denver. Ben-Amots is especially interested in films that embrace archival materials and make something new from them.
