Sophia Loren Heriveaux is a New York City based producer and writer-director. In 2020, she premiered two films at Tribeca Film Festival. She is the producer of a feature documentary, Grounded, that shot all across the United States, China and Canada; the associate producer of a short film, The Other Film, which was filmed in Ethiopia and recently streamed on Peacock; and has produced a list of other short films and music videos starring talent like Iris Apatow, Elsie Hewitt, David Zayas, and Ethan Herisse.
Most recently, Heriveaux has been directing-producing a docuseries, Good Jazz Back to You, about women in jazz. She produced an interactive web3 dating show, Proof of Love, by the quirky new startup Mad Realities and opened a substantial art exhibition with her family, Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure, which features a collection of films of her own. She finished 2022 producing a narrative feature film, Or Something.
Heriveaux is the founder of a petite production company, Goldfin Films, which she opened at the age of 17.
She is currently developing a feature and dips her toes in commercials.
When Sophia is not on calls or emails, you may find her honking ugly notes on her trumpet, wandering the world as a nomad traveler, or shredding a Peloton.
