Sareen is an Armenian-Jordanian documentary filmmaker based in the U.S. Through an intimate observational style, she tells stories of underrepresented communities. Her HBO documentary We Are Not Done Yet follows U.S. veterans grappling with PTSD who write poetry to heal. She is directing/producing/shooting her first feature documentary, an international co-production that's supported by ITVS, Arte, IDA and others.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
