I am a filmmaker based in Kenya and I love telling stories that highlight the good that people do - for other people, the environment, creatures and the universe at large.


Samuel is a journalist and documentary filmmaker based in Nairobi, Kenya. He is the Founder & Team Lead of Life Spark Studios, a creative documentary storytelling hub and production house. He has worked with different media outlets including top Kenyan-based radio station Capital FM as a content producer and has also been published by Bloomberg and Cognizant. He is a 2023 VC Solutions Storytelling Project Fellow and was also in the 2021 cohort of One World Media Fellowship. He has received several recognitions for his work, among them being at Montreal International Black Film Festival and Kalasha Film & TV Awards. Samuel is passionate about telling stories that are impactful and helpful to humanity - stories that have something to say.
