About

Samuel is a trained journalist and filmmaker based in Kenya, well experienced in the documentary storytelling world, both in photography and film. He began his career as a grip on set, to an editor and then a camera person, all which contributed to him becoming an all-round storyteller and film director. He is passionate about telling stories that are impactful and helpful to humanity, stories that have something to say. He has received several awards and created for some major brands over the years including Bloomberg, Cognizant, Capital FM Kenya, Docubox, Storyhunter, to mention a few. He currently collaborates with diverse filmmakers and creatives under his co-founded production company, Life Spark Studios, where he helps tell stories on issues affecting humanity, especially within the African continent, and of those helping to solve them.
