Robinder Uppal is a documentary filmmaker whose work explores issues of social justice and immigration. He is a co-founder (with Marc Serpa Francoeur) of Lost Time Media, which has produced a wide range of linear and interactive documentaries since 2013. In 2020, they released NO VISIBLE TRAUMA, a scathing exposé of police brutality in Calgary, their hometown. In partnership with ITVS and with support from the Sundance Institute, they produced LOVE IN THE TIME OF FENTANYL, which aired on Independent Lens in 2023. Uppal was born in Calgary to Punjabi immigrants and completed his MFA in Documentary Media at TMU.
