About

I am an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker who strives to tell immersive stories that build understanding and connection. I specializes in documentary video storytelling in intimate settings with small crews, and my work is inspired by cinema verité. After working as a staff video journalist at the Los Angeles Times early in my career, I now freelances projects for film and television. I’ve had the opportunity to film projects across the United States and around the world in eight different countries. From filming within a nuclear reactor containment vessel at Fukushima Daiichi to interviewing pop culture superstars to editing films for the ACLU, I have a broad range of production experience. My work has most recently been featured on Hulu, HBO Max, PBS NewsHour, NOVA, and CuriosityStream.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
