Riani is a Documentary Producer and Director based in Indonesia. Growing up in foreign communities, Riani has always been interested in telling stories about identity and the idea of ‘home’. As a filmmaker, she has recently participated in IDFAcademy, Ji.hlava New Visions Forum, Doc Toolbox by EFM Berlinale, Docs by The Sea, IF/Then SEA Shorts by Tribeca and Yamagata Documentary Dojo. Her Documentary short films in the past have played in over 50 film festivals around the world including Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and Palm Springs Short Film Festival among others.
Previously Riani ran a production company named Seven10 Media. Their work has been screened in Apple TV+, Discovery Science Channel, Vice Media among others.
