About

Andy Pergam has spent more than two decades in emerging technology, journalism and media businesses, governance and corporate venture. He's co-founder of Camber, an organization design and implementation business that helps companies launch new initiatives. He most recently helped design and establish the independent Oversight Board for Facebook, and led the creation of profitable, award-winning video businesses for McClatchy and The Washington Post. In a previous professional life he was a TV reporter. He's also a cofounder of Spark Camp, a gathering for media and technology types. He chairs the board of VC, and serves on boards for Journalism Funding Partners, the Poynter Institute and the Sustainable Media Center. He also advises a variety of companies. He lives in California with his wife, daughter and a pandemic puppy.
