Ophelia Deng is a documentarian and multimedia journalist with a Master's in Journalism from Northwestern University. She is skilled in producing, directing, writing, editing, and on-air presentation. Her passion for video storytelling has taken her through five years of higher education in journalism, starting at Boston University and later Northwestern, and from being a producing director in China to producing news for Chicagos local channel. Ophelia Deng believes in the aesthetic and tableau of realityeach moment is imbued with the potential for revelation, each scene a testament to the power of the human experience. This belief drives her into documentary and nonfiction storytelling.
